The UF Mycoplasma Diagnostic & Research Laboratory provides testing for Mycoplasma species in a wide variety of hosts under Dr. Mary Brown. In addition to diagnostic services, we research the pathogenic mechanisms by which mycoplasmas cause infections.

PLEASE NOTE: All testing performed by the Mycoplasma Diagnostic & Research Laboratory is for research purposes only. The University of Florida accepts no liability for use of test results. Any samples submitted can be used by our laboratory for research purposes.
Payment for laboratory services provided by the Mycoplasma Laboratory is due prior to the release of results. We accept payment via credit card, check, or EFT/ACH.
If your samples are used in a publication by us, we will reach out directly to discuss acknowledgement and/or authorship. When citing our laboratory, acknowledgement for publications should read “Diagnostic tests performed by the Mycoplasma Diagnostic & Research Laboratory under Dr. Mary Brown at the University of Florida.”
