Microscopic evaluationMicroscopic evaluation for recovery of trichomonads. Molecular testing for identification of trichomonads is required to confirm diagnosis of Tritrichomonas foetus. Identification of trichomonads is not performed in house. Samples are sent to NCSU (for feline) OR CSU (for bovine) for additional testing.
